PUTRAJAYA FLORIA, the Putrajaya Flower and Garden Festival will be organized once again in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The 9 days fiesta will commence on 1st August until 9th August 2009.

PUTRAJAYA FLORIA is an international event that is owned and jointly-hosted by the Ministry of Federal Territories and Perbadanan Putrajaya. The event will showcase a spectacular display of flora creativity as weel as local and international garden designs.

This year's theme 'Celebration of Colours' reflects the exciting and vibrant colours of flowers and plants. Arranged and landscaped in various settings with dedicated locations for photo opportunites, the interwining flowers and foilage will create a magnificent medley of colours aimed to enthrall visitors. it is hoped that the festival shall inculcate in visitors a respect for nature, love for colours flowers , plants and gardening.

Covering an area of 15 acres, Putrajaya Floria 2009 will highlights the following flower and garden attractions:

• Garden Bazaar
• Floria Showcase Gardens
• School and University Show Gardens
• Special Orchid Highlight
• Hotr Mart
• Corporate Garden
• Kiddy Garden
• Floral Pavilion

At night all the attractions will be lit up with lights that give a spectacular view of the flowers and gardens which blend well with the lights from the buildings, structures and bridges of Putrajaya.
